"The lodging was perfect for our stay. It was in close proximity to a great market and the Breachway. Check in was very easy, the room was very clean and had plenty of sets of towels and derivatives. Comfortable small room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Happy staff....happy customer. Good luck with the beautiful renovations!"

"The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. "

"This is the Closest Affordable Hotel to Newport and the only one with a Hot Tub & Sauna. The Sauna is Good & Hot; the Hot Tub could be Hotter and with Better Jets. But overall, this is the Best & Closest to Newport in Middletown. Rooms are Clean & Updated and Decent Hot Breakfast is Included."

"The room was very small even for an Inn. We expected to stay in one of the rooms in the main building that were shown on the website. We were put in another building and a smaller room. We stayed 2 nights and no maid service."

"The staff were so pleasant to talk to and since my wife and I were not able to climb stairs, we were upgraded to a first floor room. The breakfast served every day was so delicious and ready when we were. Everything we needed was taken care of by wonderful people. "Great location and nice old colonial style home, however upkeep of the Inn needs some work. A lot of pealing paint and loose floor boards. The Inn Keepers office looks like a trash pile through the windows. There was confusion with our check-in, provided wrong room. Thanks to the staff who noticed the error early. Rooms are basic, be sure to get a king bed room. The others, such as top floor, are extremely small. Fireplace was not operable in our room. TVs are haphazardly mounted, wires...
