"I booked a two-week stay at JMR through Expedia expecting the level of quality and hospitality the resort was once known for. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and far below expectations.
It honestly feels like the property is being operated under very different management, with a noticeable decline in service, maintenance, organization, and guest care. During my stay, there were repeated nighttime power outages, unpleasant garbage odors, poorly maintained facilities, and very limited accommodation for amenities such as the pool and beach areas.
The internet service was one of the biggest issues. As a professional visiting from the United States and working remotely, I relied on stable internet for business meetings and daily work tasks. The connection was extremely poor and unreliable, making it impossible at times to attend meetings or complete important work responsibilities.
Because of these ongoing issues, I was forced to spend additional money booking stays at other hotels simply to access stable internet and maintain my work schedule. This created unnecessary stress and unexpected expenses during my trip.
For the price paid and the expectations presented through Expedia, this experience did not meet acceptable hospitality standards. I truly hope management and Expedia take these concerns seriously and consider an appropriate adjustment for affected guests."
