"Upon check-in the pungent aroma of bleach caused immediate breathing issues for me due to having asthma. The room was clean but stayed damp. The carpet was damp and sticky all over and all of our towels stayed slightly damp. I couldn’t use the pool or hot tub due to the overwhelming vapors of chlorine. Also small children under 8 years old and toddlers packed the hot tub. The second and third night room 105 were obnoxiously loud, running in and out of their room slamming doors, knocking on the exit door right next to our room. When my husband went to the front desk he was told that family suffered a recent loss and they were trying to be lenient. Our daughter is medically fragile, in a wheelchair, tube fed, and has multiple seizures every single day. One thing that exacerbates the seizures is lack of rest! I’m sorry for their loss, but I’ve suffered the loss of loved ones and needed a hotel and didn’t feel entitled to run a muck and be rude to those trying to sleep. At one point it literally sounded like someone was being tossed around or possibly abused. The manager knocked on their door but they refused to open. We were informed upon checkout that they were not being allowed to stay another night. A lot of good that did for us! After their first night of chaos they shouldn’t have been allowed a second night of nonsense. We left for our 6 hour drive home completely exhausted. This will affects our decision on where to stay when we return in the future."
