"1) Checkin details were not provided - I had to contact Hotels.com and wait ±1hr outside in the windy street to get these. Checkin was 4pm but I couldnt get in until 90 mins later. 2) Once inside the building; Entrance hall filthy with full black bags in corner, wall staining, filthy carpets, laundry cages strewn. No-one around at all, felt very unsafe. 3) Once inside the flat, it felt like someone had just left in a rush, but I couldnt be sure until I had gone through the apartment. Spooky....

"Property was okay, there was staining around shower basin seals and rust where the toilet brush etc had not been replaced in a LONG time. Glad I brought my own kitchen utensils with me as everything at the property was damaged. Couldn’t even leave a fresh dish sponge for a new stay so questioned how clean the place actually was. The Lino in the kitchen was damaged in places and the fridge had been turned off and leaked into the kitchen floor. Also staining / dirt on sofa so couldn’t really...

"Be aware that this is a residential property without your own entrance. It is in a shabby and unsafe feeling part of town and the pictures are not representative of the property at all. Owners uncontactable in any way. As a single traveller, I did not stay here as i felt very unsafe on arrival. Expedia are yet to support me in the process and i ended up paying for a second property."

"This apartment wasn’t our first choice due to a booking error by Hotels.com however we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the apartment with a strong odour of stale cigarettes. "Location & appearance stunning. Interior decoration was period and sympathetic for the age of the property. Staff were polite well dressed & at tentative to your needs. Spa was well appointed, only slight drawback was you need to get the lift up to the spa which unfortunately was out of order, so needed to walk the stairs to reach it. If you ask at the main hall bar/dinning area you can even have a small tour under the premises to the wine cellar & rooms. We look forward to visiting again."
