The only good thing about this property is the beach and the food at the restaurant. The service is terrible. The management is awful and the property needs updating.
The pool is small and was disgusting and needs a lot of maintenance done to it.
Parking is a nightmare, unless you do valet parking. And they have limited carts, so many guests had to carry their luggage from parking lot to the rooms. To make things worse, the resort was hot and humid from the lobby, hallways and elevator.
We had no housekeeping for some reason. So the trash cans in our room were full and we had to ask for clean towels.
There is a set of stairs by the beach rental desk that are very dangerous. When I went down with my wife, I slipped but caught myself. However, my wife fell backwards and landed on her shoulder. There was a couple of people behind us, they slipped and almost fell as well.
I talked to several people that had issues with those steps and one little girl fell and bruised her back.
We left our trip a day early because my wife was in pain from her fall down the wooden steps. When I went to the front desk to tell them we needed to check out early due to my wife’s fall. Not one person at the front desk cared or asked how my wife was feeling.
Plus, I was told by the front desk I would have to contact Expedia since that’s who I booked my room through to get my refund.
By the way, my wife went to urgent care today, she has a fractured shoulder.
