"The hotel is relatively near Kyoto Station (20min walk or 13min drive). The rooms are clean, fairly spacious, and full of convenient amenities. In my room, there was a small desk, a futon bed, and a desk atop a tatami mat. Each bathroom includes a heated toilet, heated tub, and a shower. Room slippers are provided. The staff were excellent. "Beautiful hotel with meditation room which is private and so serene! There is a bakery on site where all the morning breads are served hot!! Very hipster vibe loved it! Room very tranquil … did a tea ceremony at hotel which was wonderful … restaurant for dinner was excellent!"

"This hotel was clean and so nicely decorated. It is pocket sized but we loved our first stay for our Japan vacation! The staff were welcoming and helpful and the amenity bar was a perfect touch. Location was convenient for all the Ueno sites. Would recommend!"
