"This hotel was decent enough and did everything I needed - clean, quiet and a basic breakfast included. While it worked fine with the access codes etc, the absence of any staff at all on site was slightly odd and made the whole experience feel a little impersonal. I value having someone to speak to in person if I have questions or need anything."

"Ok so this hotel was unique and gorgeous, it seems there were many recent upgrades done and still working on some. Expedia and all info we were given before arrival stated check in at 3.pm. We arrive at almost two. We were told check in wasn’t until 4. If we wanted to check in now it would be 80$ and the room may not even be ready til 4. I showed them everything that said 3. They did not care and I wasn’t paying 80$ for what should have been one hour early. There were other guests waiting that said they were experiencing the same issue. So after over 24 hrs of no sleep we had to go find something to do for two hours. We return to check in and they put us in the wrong room. We had to wait a half hour for the correct room and the host seemed annoyed with us. On Sunday, my husband left early for fishing, I chose to sleep in. When I went to get coffee, breakfast had ended at 10 am. It was 10:03. I just wanted coffee. I hadn’t eaten. I was told they charge for coffee after 10.! They have a coffee set up I. The room but it was awful. The room was nice and clean. The lack of a place for trash was inconvenient. The heat was on in the room and no way of making it cooler. I found it difficult to sleep. The food at the restaurant was amazing… the best hot chocolate too! Overall, it was a nice stay in a clean room. I loved the decor in both the older part of the hotel and the new ."
