"Thought I was stopping at a bar at first but the staff was great and pointed out the lodge rooms behind the bar/ restaurant on a slight hill with a nice view overlooking the bay. The rooms are stylish, clean, very comfortable, and the bed was great! I arrived in the sun but it rained after that so I couldnt take advantage of the great deck outside of every room. The rooms are angled to ensure privacy for guests. The restaurant had great food and some of the property's cider was provided to try...

"This was the best hotel we stayed at on our trip down under. It was so good that we were very close to changing our plan to spend another night. Everything was perfect, the room, the staff, the dining facilities. We loved the location (right next to the Tessellated Pavement) and hope to someday have the chance to come back. "The Maylands Lodge hosted an incredible experience with some of the best service we experienced across Tassie, lovely rooms as posted in the photos, and a wonderful breakfast included the following morning. Would highly recommend as a stop for anyone travelling Tasmania or as a base to explore Hobart"
