"Brook Manor Lodge was a wonderful stay that was absolutely perfect. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed with very comfy beds and beautiful views. Breakfast was amazing and included everything you could imagine and then some. The staff was incredibly gracious and helpful. If you're driving a hybrid car, they even have a charger you can use for a nominal fee - much less hassle than getting a membership to the public charging system if you don't have one. "Due to a family bereavement they were unable to offer breakfast, but we had not booked breakfast anyway. Although we were there in late August the town was incredibly quiet. Most food and drink places were closed for the duration of our 3 night stay, for breakfast or dinner. But McMunns were open on our last night and we got a good dinner there."
