"Parking was ample. The hotel smells new and I am certain it has been renovated with new furniture, decor and a fresh paint. The free breakfast looked good and was well attended as I walked through and checked out. I would have had breakfast there but had an appointment that morning. My room was huge with fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board- a great surprise! The shower was not as clean as I would have liked as there was mucus on the tile. One of the cylinders of the lock would not go into the slot on the doorframe. I was too exhausted from my drive to make the front desk aware of these issues. The hinge/flap doo-hickie had to suffice as my lock throughout the night. This made me a little nervous as I slept. Front desk personnel in the evening and the one in the morning were personable and efficient."

"This property was a last minute booking after having a terrible night at a different hotel. They were so accommodating and helpful here. My kids and I enjoyed the smaller waterpark feel of Surfari Joes. It was just enough for enjoyment, but not as overwhelming as those larger parks. I will be planning another trip here soon!"

"I’ve stayed at this hotel before; cleanliness used to be hit-or-miss, but now it’s excellent. The only thing that bothered me was an unpleasant, musty smell in the room—I had to ask for air freshener. I’m pleasantly surprised; the décor has been improved, and the breakfasts are very hearty. I’d recommend it to others."
