"I was very pleased when I fisrt saw my room. The room was clean and a good size with a sitting area and a separate bedroom. There was also a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink microwave and coffee machine. Unfortunately there were a few things that I was not happy with. First, the television in the bedroom had no reception. 2nd, the thermostat didn’t work. There was no temperature change in the room when the temp on the thermostat was adjusted. It sat at 67 degrees the whole time. What was worse was the vents in the room never stopped blowing making it difficult to sleep. The hotel offered a free breakfast buffet, but I didn’t have the chance to check it out."

"The room was clean and OK. It’s an old facility and it looks like it including wear and tear. The staff were very friendly and helpful!!"

"The hotel is adequate. There's nothing fancy about it or particularly nice but it's clean safe and very reasonably priced. It's a perfect example of you get what you pay for."

"The Idlewyld Inn is a lovely weekend getaway. The house has a historical appeal and is very clean. The staff are great, and the breakfast is exceptional. The only issue I found is that neither of the windows in the room properly blocked out the outside light, making it a bit difficult to sleep. "
