"Family friendly place"

"Stayed one night. Surprised reviews aren’t more positive as this was wonderful! Beautiful grounds with blooming flowers. Relaxing sitting areas with water views and easy access from highway. Rooms are large with comfortable beds. Fabulous shower. Loved the full size fridge and stove, but still wish breakfast was available onsite."

"Overall Skamania Lodge is really great and a great place to visit. We booked two Premier King rooms and they both were overlooking the river. The view and the rooms itself were really great. The reason to give poor ratings is because of the staff. Our room heater/cooling system was not functioning and we tried to call for help at Guest services. None of them came till 20mins post that, and given it was getting late, we called again. The person at the front desk who said his name was Derek, said...

"OMG this place was amazing. The people that work there are so caring and make you feel at Home. I stayed on the A Frame which is phenomenal. I would highly recommend the restaurant , the food is rich on flavor and very fresh."

"Even though somebody at night cancelled my entire trip because I checked in a day later the woman at the front bent over backwards and took care of me. The pool is amazing and breakfast is alright. Only downside is the Internet is circa 2002."

"We like the rustic looking cabin. However, there was no cell phone service in this area and the WiFi did not work. Also the TV would not connect to the provider. So forget about being connected to the outside world. Inside the cabin there were several issues. The old shag carpet needs replaced with new flooring. There wasn’t a door between the small kitchen area the toilet/shower area. The faucets for the sink and the shower need replaced - leaking and difficult to control the temperature....
