Our room was clean, large, and had a giant soaker tub, and a sitting room with a view of the mountains. The food for breakfast was delicious. I had the vegetarian meal and some fruit. "We stayed in the 2-bedroom pet-friendly chalet for 4 nights and unfortunately left feeling disappointed given the price paid (£737). The location is excellent and makes a great base for exploring Fort William, but the accommodation itself felt tired and dated. The WiFi barely worked throughout our stay, meaning Netflix and YouTube were unusable, and the TV channels regularly lost signal. Several maintenance issues were noticeable, including a wobbly toilet seat, an oven that took much longer than expected to cook food, a dishwasher that barely cleaned dishes, and an old vacuum cleaner that was ineffective. Cleanliness was also disappointing. We found hairs on the bedding and sofa, and some of the bedding appeared stained and heavily worn. The chalet was poorly stocked for a 4-night stay. We were only provided with one toilet roll, one bin liner and two dishwasher tablets. The towels supplied were very small and there was no bath mat. The bedroom layout was impractical, with the wardrobe door unable to fully open because it hit the bed. The most concerning part of our stay was on the final night when an unknown person walked onto our decking and tried the door at around 1am, then returned and tried again at approximately 2:10am. Thankfully the door was locked, but it left us feeling very uncomfortable. Finally, a 4pm check-in and 9am check-out significantly reduces the time guests actually have use of the accommodation."
