"An excellent property, good location, we took a bus from the train station to property, then took a boat to Portofino. "The rooms are nicely appointed although I had some mild issues with the plumbing at first. I am not a fan of half showers, but that is common there, especially in older properties. The one caution in the bathroom is the height of the tub above the floor...it can be a bit dangerous as the floor appears to be a couple inches lower than the tub bottom...just a small warning in my particular room. Lobby is lovely. Breakfast is very pleasant and the staff works hard to make it so. The air...

"The staff was amazing - friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and accomodating! The breakfast was spectacular, the rooms were updated, clean and offered great views. The hotel was conveniently located near the train and ferry service. The Vesuvio was a phenomenal place to stay - I would highly recommend it!!"
