"This is the perfect lodging for your stay in Ischia. It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. So convenient! The hotel staff themselves are so accommodating, as well. The staff during our stay didn't speak...

"We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. "

"The best stay we had on our trip. The staff was incredible sweet and accommodating. Daniela gave us many recommendations for things to do and we even ran into her on the beach and she told us where to go snorkelling to see the bubbles from the ground. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The rooftop terrace was also a very nice bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Not as advertised Says access to a private beach and shows sun loungers, these are €23 so not free and not part of the hotel. WiFi was terrible. Breakfast is a buffet style breakfast but not self service, can’t see what there is. There is a language barrier which is fine but without signs etc we ended up a coffee and croissant rather than be left baffled and embarrassed by the process, Advertised with a sun terrace, there is one we can see it but the stairs are sectioned off and was told not...
