"We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. "We had a wonderful stay. Everything was excellent: the accommodations, the atmosphere, and especially the people, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The only issue was finding the property. To be fair, La Casella provided very clear directions and specifically advised us not to rely on GPS. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was a great place to cool off. We would have liked to dine at Collins Restaurant, but unfortunately it was closed, with only the Collins Bar being open. We also wanted to visit the rooftop bar, but this was closed as well. We experienced issues with the air conditioning, which could only be adjusted by reception. On our last night, we had to move to another room in order to get a comfortable night's sleep. We're not sure if there was some refurbishment work taking place, although the staff told us there wasn't."

"This is one of the most beautiful properties in one of the most beautiful little towns off the beaten path we have come across in our extensive travels around Italy. The property is brand new and beautifully designed and decorated with distinctive finishes and furnishings throughout the location is incredible right at the base of the town of Monteleone. The town of Pieve is only a 10 minute drive away both are incredible and worth visiting as is Orvieto. We were most impressed by Front Desk Staff, Member, Anna, who level of professionalism and service was beyond that we’ve encountered in many five star Plus properties. Highly recommend this property as a base to explore the beautiful region of Umbria."

"An amazing hotel with friendly staff. Very quirky with chocolate themed furnishings. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet has to be seen to be believed with an outstanding range of goodies to choose from. The savoury options were plentiful. It would have been preferable to have the eggs and bacon kept warm but this was our only negative. The fresh fruit was beautifully prepared. I have shared photos of the non gluten selection with my non gluten friends who were impressed with the choice. Truly a must stay hotel for anyone wanting to experience a “Willy Wonka” moment. Walk from station to the hotel is doable in 15 minutes but pavement is not very even and probably not suitable for nightime. The walk up to the historic centre was challenging and one we had to abandon in favour of a taxi but noted afterwards that we could have got a bus. The walk back from the centre downhill was actually not so bad. Our room on 3rd floor at the front was somewhat noisy from road traffic."
