"I will not stay here again. I have to travel to KC every few months and wanted to try something new. Big mistake! Clerk never greeted us. Just asked for name and phone number. Clerk wore gloves that he was doing something in, and asked for my ID , he didn’t even take the gloves off. Yikes. Then he never said please or thank you. Very rude. We went to dinner and when we got back the room smelled like smoke. So I had the clerk come and smell the room. He said he couldn’t smell it and that the room was cleaned that morning. I asked for a different room he said he didn’t have a king room, on the first floor. I said we will stay in this room, but I’m leaving a review, he didn’t care. The bathroom floor was coming up , mold and mildew. you can see where someone smoked in that room. If I could get a refund I would."

"It’s a 3 star property at best. The exterior looks very nice, but the beds are extremely dated, both of the beds in my room, felt like you were sleeping on the side of a mountain and the air conditioners need to be serviced and or completely replaced. It sounded like a semi truck was in my room the entire night and everyone woke up congested. Be prepared for some strong smells throughout the property. I don’t know if certain rooms come with kitchen - I have no idea, but the smalls were really bad. For a May visit the pool was freezing cold - and it’s an indoor pool so sustained heat doesn’t cost the property that much. The breakfast has great potential. They just need a little attention to details and to keep things fresh and hot. The location is phenomenal and the staff is very sweet they just need to replace the beds and the air conditioners and do a deep deep cleaning."

"We were very pleasantly surprised with our room and three nights stay at studio six. When I realized it was affiliated with Motel six I considered not checking in and going elsewhere, but we decided to go look at it and were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was very clean and the kitchen facilities were nice to have. The bed was comfortable and our room was quiet. The front desk clerk, Claudia, gave an amazing customer service and was extremely friendly. Overall, it was a surprisingly pleasant stay, exceeding our expectations."
