"Parking was ok, lots of vehicles with the pool tournament going on. Room was fairly clean, good solid bed. Courtyard was grown up with high grass and weeds, didn't even look at the pool. The property needs a couple good maintenence personnel cause it needs a lot of work! "

I said something to the lady and said if I could stand the smell she would switch my room but I didn’t want to bother her .ITS NOT HER FAULT.. I UNDERSTAND ITS A TOP HOTEL BUT I DIDNT ENJOY THE SMELL . The breakfast was was good and the staff was friendly . It says it a smoke free hotel but as soon as I open the door of the room it smell my mother in laws house . Not good"

"Drove past this place so many times I never thought it was as clean and nice as it is. The room was super clean, the jacuzzi was clean, big and so relaxing. The bed sheets made me feel at home because they were floral and soft. "

"This is the second time I have stayed at the Oaklander. The first time there were stains all over my sheets. They were changed. This time the pillows were wrinkled and did not smell fresh. I had to request new pillow cases. It’s a beautiful hotel but when they tell you they are inspecting your room before you go in beware, you better inspect it yourself. Housekeeping was very courteous when they changed the pillow cases. One bright point. Very disappointing for such a beautiful hotel."
