The inn was within a couple of blocks of several good restaurants. The main pier and several whale watching companies were also within a couple of blocks of the inn as well. If you get a room with an ocean view you won’t be disappointed. You could jump into the ocean from the balcony (but don’t). Seriously, you could sit on the balcony and enjoy watching the tide come and then go out. This inn was a great find.

Booked last minute. Front desk was very pleasant even with my late arrival. Checkin was fast. Donuts, coffee and yogurt in the morning in the main lobby. Very quiet and no trouble sleeping. I’d stay here again.

Great views! Not bad for a budget place. But very dated. Cover on the bad didn’t look very clean. And the pool is in desperate need of repair and cleaning! Bed was pretty comfortable though. And great location.

The hotel is quite dated with narrow hallways and older carpeting. Our room, however was clean with vinyl flooring and a walkout to a well-kept grassy area facing the water. There were two lawn chairs, a table and exterior light which is a great setup for watching the sunset and for morning coffee. The pool area was not very appealing and at no point in our stay did I see anyone in the pool area or the pool itself. Coffee, tea, yogurt and donuts were available in the lobby. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely stay here, excellent position close to everything. Beautiful view, great coffee and donuts every day. The staff on the desk were exceptional and couldn't be more helpful. We'll definitely be back!

We had the suite on the ground floor. Liked having a kitchen with the necessary supplies to cook a simple breakfast or supper. Beds were comfortable. Patio had a great view of the water. Pool was unheated and looked like it had seen better days.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location and view. Our room was not cleaned properly at all. The toilet actually had poop in it and the shower had the previous guests soup bar and hair still in the shower. Bathroom sink wasn’t clean either. Hotel manager stated “ it was cleaned and inspected to their standards”??!!!?! Bathroom by the pool was filthy!! Hotel is out dated and could use a major overhaul. Front flower beds were all overgrown. Not worth the price. Stay someplace else.

The lady working the front desk during the day shift was extremely friendly and very helpful she made our hello and her goodbye very pleasant:-). Our room on the first floor was recently renovated and very nice. We love having the view of the water. It was nice and clean. My only suggestion would be maybe a wall mounted hanging rack for clothing? And if there were ice machines on each floor because the ones in the rooms are not the best. Other than that no complaints at all great location!

Staff is amazing. Always so kind!! Anything we needed. They even help carry my bags to our room!! Never had that service before. Girl trip with my mother yearly here. Will never stay anywhere else in St Andrews.

Each room has a balcony that looks over the water . It is beautiful and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. We did have a couple of issues- the chairs on our deck were both broken but they replaced them right away. There is no elevator to the upstairs rooms. We carried our bags upstairs but they do offer to carry them for you. Anyone with difficulty going up and down stairs needs to stay on the entry level floor (floor2).
