Not worth the $502 cost for 2 nights. I would suggest the Fiesta Ocean Inn which is under same ownership before this "Lighthouse" room. It wasnt accurately described. Please dont book this room, if you are looking for a romantic bed n breakfast! The mattress was thin and hard, not a pillowtop and left husband with sore shoulder. Tiny short closet space in tiny old armoir to hang clothes....Furnishings in this tiny space are shabby chic beach...had to put a 2nd small suitcase on the wicker coffee table. The bathroom needs better toiletries..1 tiny bar of soap..Motel Six offers more..Nowhere to hang wet wash cloths or hook for change of clothes... tub has broken old hardware. The woman that cooked and served breakfast was wonderful & gracious..but again the breakfast was very basic and nothing special. Didnt get to use pool. Typical of these northern Florida beaches the actual ocean is a long walk on a path through a wide dune and then very wide stretch of sand..not ideal for folks who cant walk long distances. Breakfast is served on 2nd level of the main beach cottage...thus up atleast 13 steps. Couldnt cancel or change reservation to another room on property because booked through 3rd party.
