"The room smelled horrible. There were dryer sheets on the A/C that made the room smell lemony. It was masking a regurgitated smell. The bed had a sour smell and the furniture was old and stained. The parking lot wasn’t well lit, but I did see police officers patrolling. The staff was very professional and communicated effectively! "

"We stayed here for 6 nights and the staff breakfast were very good. Not to mention the convenient parking in front was a plus. The property along with our room was outstanding. Super clean. No issues they cleaned over every single day while we partied out in Bourbon. Which was a six minute walk to everything! Thank you, Hampton Inn for your accommodations. We will see you again highly recommend!"

"Overall, the stay was pretty solid. The room could’ve been cleaned a little better — there were a few small things that made it feel like housekeeping may have rushed through (hairs, dirty dishes, dusty floors) but it wasn’t anything that completely ruined the experience. "Communication and staff were all amazing. Located in a great area short walk to almost anywhere. Really loved that we were able to check our bags until our room was ready and store them there after we checked out, this allowed us to enjoy every minute of our vacation until it was time to say goodbye. Building is beautiful, does need a little work to make it look more inviting and cozier. The pool and yard area need some heat and some clean up it would be much more enjoyable to spend time...

"Staff great. Room was nice (though I would have liked a dresser, even if it was small. Not crazy about living out of my luggage, especailly given the bathroom was so large. I realize old buildings have restrictions). Perfect locaton, great check in experience. I would hightly recommed the hotel. "

"This is my third trip to New Orleans and this is the hotel I will definitely be booking on my next trip. Beautiful hotel, very clean. Helpful staff and close to all the French Quarter attractions. The only change I’ll make next time is to book a room with a window- we had a windowless room- which might be ideal for partygoers who like to sleep in , but for those who like the daytime attractions some natural light would be nice."
