"Air conditioner rattled non-stop. TV was not working."

"The entry lights were out upon arrival, the outdoor trash overflowing. The room was clean, though the mattresses were not the most comfortable. The heating/ac unit didn’t cool the room. The toilet was badly stained. The towels were terrible. Easy location right off the highway, surrounded by farms and the stench of manure. Basic breakfast. Overall, not worth the money for the lack of quality."

"The front desk staff was unfriendly from the time we checked in. The hotel common areas and especially our room was very dirty and run down. There were stains on everything from the walls, furniture, bathtub, and bedding. Our stay was noisy with people running up and down the hallways starting at 2 am through the morning. "

"This is a historic property on a residential street. Lots of charm. It is a bit away from Jim Thorpe but really cute. There was a coffee shop and a local, friendly bar walking distance away. We enjoyed our stay after a long day of hiking and appreciated the coffee and common area in the hotel available in the am. "

"1. The elevator wasn’t working, but I managed. 2. The swimming pool water was cold and so I only stuck my feet in. 3. The breakfast was ok with sausage links, and eggs. The chocolate muffin was OK. I did not try the waffles or cereal. The orange juice is really good. 4. The air conditioner worked really well. 5. Good idea to have cover slips on the chairs in the sofa, especially with smelly hikers like me coming in. 6.. room was reasonably priced."
