I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel others should be aware before booking here. From the moment we arrived, the experience was underwhelming. The hotel had an unpleasant, musty odor that hit us as soon as we walked in. Our room felt damp and was clearly not cleaned thoroughly—definitely not what you’d expect for the rate they charge. The entire building appears stuck in the early ’90s, with no visible updates. Most of the “repairs” and upgrades seemed like quick, low-cost landlord specials.
Customer service was also a major issue. The front desk employee was on the phone when we arrived and didn’t so much as offer a glance or simple greeting to acknowledge us. He was speaking rudely and passive-aggressively to whoever was on the line, and unfortunately, that same attitude carried over when it was our turn. I was given a condescending lecture about having “too many kids” for the room—even though I only had three young children under the age of 9. He said he’d “let it slide this time” and made it clear I was “lucky” he didn’t cancel my reservation on the spot. It felt unprofessional and borderline hostile.
For what they charge, the level of hospitality, cleanliness, and comfort falls far below expectations. This place is in serious need of renovation, better housekeeping, and above all, basic customer service training. I won’t be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend it to others.
