The hotel is just outside St Gilgen but you can get a ferry or walk (if feeling energetic). The cable car and nearby cog railway are worth a go, plus one of the salt mines.

Staff were always helpful and the hotel was spotless. The breakfast was delicious and Seema, the breakfast host, was oustamding.

This was a wonderful apartment/hotel. I was impressed by its facilities, location and cleanliness. Check in was easy, no complaints. Highly recommend this place. There is street meter parking. Fortunate for us, We stayed on a weekend so parking was free. Loved this place, so close to Mirabell Gardens, ...

We hiked up Plombergstein and hiked to St Wolfgang then caught the ferry back, both great walks.
