This was exactly what I wanted! Simple, quiet with spectacular views! I was prepared to be off the grid… so the power outages were no big deal. I stayed in a treehouse with two teenagers. The pool is lovely. The restaurant food is great with an amazing view. The nearby Salt Pond Beach is beautiful and not crowded. There are several restaurants in nearby Coral Bay which were so fun to explore. Staff are quite responsive; though be prepared for things to need attention. Mostly inconveniences that are far outweighed by the spectacular experience of being in this setting. I hope that I can go again!

A gorgeous, magical location. Note it is rustic. You will hear wind against the cabin walls, you will shower with a garden hose and use a composting toilet. If you can hang with that and can be fairly self-sufficient, you'll have an incredible time here. Sheets and towels are clean. Small basic kitchenette. Limited internet... The peace of waking up with the sunrise and wondering at the billions of stars at night -- better than any "luxury resort" could offer for us.

View was breath taking! However, the amenities were horrible. 3 of the 8 days were the only ones where we had access to water and electricity. Attempting to reach management was a task, there were mainly volunteers who were trying to run the resort. It’s a shame could be a nice place to stay

No onsite management. Shower was a garden hose and nozzle! Water wasn’t potable in cabana without notice of such.No WIFI In cabana. Insufficient lighting in cabana. Only one small lamp. Lack of information about all amenities and policies in the room. I had to learn by happenstance. The staff onsite ( Claudia and others) were helpful. Scott, a Vounteer, was cooperative and helpful. There were 50 stairs to my cabana. Pool was nice. Restaurant was nice to pp

Where do I start? Well for one, the bathroom blinds were all broken so we had no privacy. Kitchen stove was old and not working. The stove provided was for camping. Hot water would run out. Wifi not working in room, had to walk out of room to connect. They need a wifi extender/booster. One star for the view from our balcony.

A long day of travel is to be expected when traveling to this beautiful spot! Be ready for remote island life. Concordia is still recovering from devastating hurricanes, and therefore not all systems are up and running consistently.. We are used to rustic camping and therefore it worked for the 4 of us - Mom, Dad and 2 teenagers. We rented a basic cabin for a week. Renting a jeep is essential to explore hiking numerous trails in the park. Be ready for rough roads and hilly terrain by car. If you have any motion sickness issues- it may be challenging. Bringing basic food items is key as groceries are very expensive and eating out is quite pricey. We brought a suitcase full of dried goods and paid the baggage fee and it was worth it. We shopped for fresh food in St Thomas before getting on the ferry (FYI, you don’t need to buy a ferry ticket in advance just to show up and get on the next ferry. There is plenty of space and lots of ferry’s run all day.) Biggest problem was noseeums- they are so small they get through the screens. We all have many bug bites as souvenirs (!) Friendly staff but minimal presence. Sea View Restaurant was great but did run out of some items (deliveries didn’t come). Andrew was great, and Hannah was easy to text with. A great week overall away from the busy areas Cruz Bay and north shore beaches. Be sure and stop in the National park hqts for trail maps- that’s the only place to find them!

The setting and nature is perfect, and is the main reason to be here, and why we returned. If anything else has priority, you will likely prefer elsewhere. The 'treehouse' units are really much like camping, something which I personally like.

Really great view! The cabin was spacious. Very comfortable bed. Also, the pool was amazing. Disappointed in: 1) no extra towels ( extremely thin, small, and worn ) 2) no beach/ pool towels 3) rented a kitchenette with coffee pot but NO coffee and NO coffee mugs 4) for an echo lodge— shame on you for decorating with beach rocks, coral, shells. Very bad example !!!!! Those items are to be left at the beach. Especially if they came from the National Park! 5) terrible Wi-Fi 6) beware— just because the restaurant is “open for the season” does NOT mean it is actually open. We stayed here because of easy access to beach and the ability to have restaurant on site. Restaurant was never open during our 4 night stay. 7). The filtered water tasted terrible 8) Really felt taken advantage of to pay a “ resort fee” with such limited resources and amenities

This place is a hidden gem. If you’re looking for adventure and just relaxation without all fancy stuff. Concordia is the place for you. If you cannot do stairs then this place isn’t the place for you. You are located in a beautiful hillside with tons of stairs all around you. If you don’t need ac then this place is perfect for you in the tents. But they do have ac units as well. It’s rustic but brings you back to nature. You have an amazing beach just a half mile from the place called salt pond that you could just spend the whole day there and snorkel beautiful waters. Take a hike to ramhead trail from the resort. I stayed in unit 13 with no ac and had the best crosswinds coming through my unit.

Beautiful Views no Frills (think eco)

The eco resort was just what we needed. Off season so not many or any people there. The challenge was very few to no staff as well. So we were really on our own which was mostly ok. The studio was roomy with small fridge and cook area. No frills basics. BUT - the views are amazing from balconies. Beach area - salt pond bay- is a bit of a walk - but doable for those in decent shape. We spent most of our time at another beach but it was nice to come back to the quiet of Concordia.

We had a lovely stay! You have to be ready for somewhat rugged conditions as it's open air - think "glamping" - in the treehouse accommodations and so you are with the elements and animals somewhat. (We had a cute frog in our shower!) But we loved it! Would definitely stay again as we felt away from it all and able to fully relax.

Eco Concordia was phenomenal even if it was the offseason . We had a breezy cabin and could see the Caribbean Sea and the British Virgin Islands from our deck. Better than camping. Honestly I want to buy the cabin we stayed in . The manager Hannah was there for us within seconds of we ever needed anything. The pool was great. The access to hiking and the beach was right there. I honesty can’t imagine a better way to experience the island . Staying at the eco Concordia at St. John was such a moving experience. As close to perfect as possible . I will absolutely be returning !!! Hopefully sooner than later !!

The view from the property was amazing to overlook Salt Pond bay but that was it. They don’t tell you there’s only 3 walls and you will have frogs, spiders, tons of mosquitoes and numerous other animals or insects every single day!!!! I understand zero AC but at least provide fans of some sort. They only gave us two towels for 7 days and pillows and mattress had black mold on them. A chair broke while a friend was sitting in it, tools and saws in our room as if it were unfinished, a garden hose for a shower. $5,000 plus and none of that was in the description! A refund or compensation of some sort would be greatly appreciated!

An episode from survivor!

This resort was extremely remote and beautiful. Unfortunately, no manned front desk for support, emergency or basic replenishments for the room. Mice feces everywhere in the room and during the evening impossible to sleep. The mice running accross the floors. There was no hot water and what water was available was a trickle from the shower. No wifi !!!!!!

This was hands down the worst resort experience I’ve ever had. The place was filthy — the room looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. Dust everywhere, stained linens, and the bathroom was downright gross. Even worse, there were spiders crawling all over the place — walls, ceiling, even the bed. It was disgusting and made it impossible to relax or sleep. On top of that, the resort didn’t feel safe at all. Doors didn’t lock properly, the lighting around the property was poor, and the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable and sketchy. I genuinely didn’t feel secure during my stay. Avoid this place at all costs. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone — not even for one night. Total waste of money and a complete nightmare.

Disappointed & Frustrated – Not the Eco Experience Promised I wanted so badly to love Concordia Eco Resort in Saint John, but my experience was overwhelmingly disappointing. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was not the peaceful, well-run eco resort they advertise. Let’s start with the customer service — or complete lack of it. During the rare times the office was open, the women working were polite, but absolutely not helpful. I asked repeatedly for a clean pillow after discovering mine was moldy, and for several days, I was brushed off with vague promises and zero follow-through. That alone would’ve been bad enough, but it was only the beginning. We requested extra towels on our first night. Nothing. Asked again — multiple times — still nothing. It felt like we were a bother just for wanting basic necessities. The “air-conditioned villa” I paid for? It was dirty on arrival. I ended up having to clean the whole place myself. The bathroom and areas around the bed had ants, which only got worse as the days went on. There’s clearly no regular pest control or real upkeep being done. As for the amenities listed online — don’t be fooled. Almost none of them are available in the off-season, and nowhere was that made clear when booking. No activities. No real support staff. It’s basically a ghost town with someone occasionally manning the desk. The way it’s currently being run, it’s simply not worth the money, stress, or disappointment.

Area was quiet with beautiful views. The restaurant was decent with friendly staff, but only open Fri-Mon. Unfortunately, that’s really where the good things end. I never saw a single resort staff member - not even at check-in or out. Our door did not lock (there was a padlock for which we were never given a key), the windows leaked when it rained, there was no curtains for the missing 4th wall leading to the deck, the pool was drained on the 3rd day of our trip with no notice, our laundry line snapped dropping all our clothes and one of our chairs was cracked in such a way as to grab our clothes, and the shower was a hose hooked up to a basin on the roof, there was no curtain between the shower and the bathroom (there was a shower curtain between the bathroom and the bedroom) and the shower floor was higher than the rest of the bathroom, so water went everywhere. Was unable to get any of this addressed because there was no staff. The front desk was never open and the advertised gift shop was never open either. At check-in time I received a text telling me which room was mine and where to park, but no further communication even when I tried to contact them via phone, text and the waitress at the restaurant. Hannah eventually called the waitress and yelled at her that she had already told me everything I needed to know. Another guest let me know that the resort was in bankruptcy. This experience left me feeling abandoned and lied to - if I wanted to camp, I would have camped.
