"The hotel was nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to borrow beach towels, which was very convenient. There are also 2 adorable cats on the property that made our stay even more enjoyable!
Our room looked exactly like the pictures online. We thought it was good value for the price we paid. The bed was a bit firm, the toilet didn’t flush very well, and the shower pressure wasn’t the best, but nothing dramatic. The room was clean and comfortable.
One thing that could be improved is the housekeeping service. We stayed for one week, but our room was only cleaned once during our entire stay.
Our biggest little “ick” was the curtains. The curtain rod was thick and made of wood, so the curtain didn’t slide smoothly at all. The curtain rings were rusty, which wasn’t very pleasant to touch whenever we opened or closed them. At one point, the curtain rod even came loose and fell on us! Nothing serious, but it could definitely use a little maintenance.😅
We had breakfast at the hotel one morning. It was delicious, but a little expensive.
There is no direct beach access. The biggest downside for us was the location. It was quite far from most attractions, so we had to take an Uber almost everywhere. That said, that’s on us! We should have looked more carefully at the location before booking.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with friendly staff, as long as they’re aware of the location☺"
