"The hotel was very good with one exception - the bathroom. The hotel was bright and clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were good with plenty of choice (we didn't eat an evening meal in the restaurant so can't comment on those). There is a large car park so never a problem parking. We chose a double room with sea views and a patio door and it was nice to be able to sit and enjoy the views and get the fresh air. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The downside was the bathroom which was dated and in need of modernisation. There was a bath with shower over it. There was very little water pressure from the shower and the flow therefore trickled which made showering difficult. The bathroom window was very draughty (we reduced the draught by using toilet tissue as a temporary seal) causing the bathroom door to rattle when closed. The hotel is very good and, despite the bathroom issues, we had a great stay. "

"The best part of the hotel was the reception staff, they were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for these professionals, Hotel Savoy you should be so proud of these ladies. The breakfast was a buffet breakfast, fresh and an array of everything, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room on the ground floor was extremely clean, perfect for a one nights stay but it was a little tired looking in places. I would definitely stay again."

"Loved proximity to beach. Unfortunate that construction impeded the view from the dining room and there was no terrace to sit on. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff very helpful. Only criticism was the breakfast buffet being the same every day and not very warm. overall a decent hotel and would go back there."

"A beautiful hotel, with very kind and engaging staff. They were all incredibly thoughtful and worked hard to make it feel like a special experience. The grounds and gardens are beautiful, there were lovely spaces to get a drink and relax. The food was first class. The indoor pool and gym are small but very clean and definitely do what you need. "
