"The staff were wonderful, most especially the gentleman that checked us in with glasses, a bit chubby and some beard. Also the receptionist, the lady working in the morning, we think the name was Emily, was also wonderful. I would certainly recommend this hotel to other travellers. I wish to give this hotel a 5 star rating "

"This is a historic property from the 1920s and this was my second stay, the first in a veranda room. I truly enjoyed it and plan to stay again. I like how they offer breakfast, and have ample and welcoming lounge space downstairs. There's always tea, coffee, hot chocolate available, the chairs are comfy, and I chatted with some very nice people, both visitors and staff. "
