"We stayed one night at this hotel and it was the worst experience of our life! We parked across the street of the Galleon Hotel and asked the check-in lady if it was ok to park there for the night. She stated it was not a problem. Upon check in our room was dingy, dusty and old with a shared bathroom. We asked to upgrade our room with a private bathroom and she said it would be $80 cash. "I would not stay again. The room are out dated and needs repairs. Faucets are rusty, toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall. Faucet in the bathroom off centered so I had to keep turning it to make sure water stayed in the sink. The property is clean and the beachfront view was beautiful to wake up to each morning. "Had a very nice time staying at Sapphire Resort. The sargassum was a bummer but the staff took very good care of it so the beach could still be easily accessible. My husband and I did hours of snorkeling and found some pretty neat fish/invertebrates. Our condo was clean and had a very comfortable bed. The bar and pool were also great. Would definitely do it again!"
