"Need more options for the menu. Kindly inform the staffs that breakfast is included in the cost. The staff mentioned you can check the menu if you need other options. Guess they are not aware that the breakfast has cost as well and the customer covered that it not gratis."
"We could not stay at Hotel Martin. The room was completely unacceptable. It was dirty, stuffy and sweltering hot. The AC did not work and I have a medical condition which requires me to stay cool. To make matters worse, the door lock on our room also did not work properly and my partner got locked in the room, unable to leave until we entered the room from a hidden side door. Yikes!
The manager was not on site and not answering their phone, Thankfully someone else tried to assist us and get us a different room but that was even worse than the first. The AC in the new room still didn't work and worse, it smelled like old cigarettes, weed and destroyed dreams.
While we saw the other negative reviews we just thought they weren't that bad, the hotel was maybe a little run-down but could still be good, WE WERE WRONG. Hotel Martin has just been left to decay. There still has been no communication or refund for this atrocity of a hotel. Lesson learned. Thankfully we were able to find an available room at a nearby hotel with better reviews. That really saved our trip! Save yourself (and your soul) the same pain and skip Hotel Martin. Book ANYWHERE ELSE, so you can actually enjoy your stay in Corozal.
The one thing they didn't lie about was the view. It is right on the ocean with stairs going right down to the water. Of course, you can stay elsewhere and take those same stairs..."
"Kinga was the most welcoming of hosts, she is creating a little patch of paradise and the cabana that we stayed in was blissful. Clean, comfortable, and with the most exquisite views to wake up to. Sad we were only there for one night, I could have stayed a month, thank you so much Kinga for your wonderful hospitality xx"
