"Villa Flavia is a beautiful hotel. Absolutely amazing! The rooms are spotless clean and very comfortable. They have wonderful outdoor garden and sitting areas. The service is excellent. The breakfast is delicious. The location is very convenient and provides easy access to the most visited parts of the city. You will love this place!"

"We stayed in room 403 for 2 nights and enjoyed it. Room had a small balcony facing the church next to it. The room is modern but had limited space - especially the bathroom had no counter space. Location is superb - 2 min walk to the Roman theater, 10-15 min walk to the pedestrian shopping street (be mindful of walking up and down the cobblestone streets). We enjoyed our stay - staff are super helpful and friendly. Pro: Location in the old town. Close to all main sites. We liked the location but others might not like the uphill walk. Quiet area. Cons: Hotel does not have elevator so might be troublesome for adults with mobility issues. Staff are helpful with luggage though. Breakfast is great but have to book a day prior for the kitchen to prepare. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the decor and ambiance!"

"Staff unhelpful, I’ve never had to pay for a hotel pool before unless they have clearly stated there is a surcharge! (They didn’t) Beds incredible soft. There was a party which meant it went into the early hours of the morning and the rooms are not sound proof. Would NOT recommend. However they do have underground parking!! The one plus"

"Fantastic from the moment we arrived, welcomed as though we were staying in the owners own home. Room was large & airy & very modern.Great location only a short walk to the main street & the old town. Very clean & well maintained. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Plovdiv"

"A Bulgarian four-star but really an anywhere-else three-star. No kitchenette in the room, no microwave, and the mini fridge is comical. Bath is good, beds are borderline passable but not for a legit four-star joint. Excellent location though!"

"I'm travelling with large bags, so I wanted somewhere very near the railway station, but still walkable to all the amazing sites in this most beautiful of cities. It's a gem! This hotel is virtually attached to the railway station, but it's modern, clean, comfortable beds, good bathrooms, and very cheap for the quality. In short, it's the perfect solution for my needs on this trip. A good buffet breakfast is available, but finishes at 9:00am, so just watch that."

"Throughout my life, I've stayed in many different hotels in many cities. I generally don't like to comment on the places I stay because many hotels have both advantages and disadvantages. However, this time it's different.... Exceptional cleanliness, a magnificent breakfast, friendly and attentive staff. Don't let the fact that it's a 3-star hotel fool you; believe me, you can easily find a level of comfort here that you'd be hard-pressed to find even in a 5-star hotel. Are there no negative aspects at all? Yes, believe me, there aren't! ENDLESS THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF, ESPECIALLY THE HOTEL OWNER MR. HRISTO, FOR MAKING US FEEL AT HOME..."
