"You get what you pay for. It is an older building. It is well maintained. The bathrooms have been remodeled but it stops there. The room was clean and the bed was clean and comfortable. No frills inexpensive room for the night."

"Free parking , hotel with very historic charisma right on Mainstreet in historic downtown of Trinidad, Co. Loved the high ceilings and original wood floors, combined with modern amenities. Room was quiet and had everything we needed, staff was lovely, welcoming and helpful. Hotel restaurant offers delicious food, and a free welcome drink. We greatly enjoyed our 1 night stay."

"Don’t judge this book by its cover. Kind of a turn-off from the outside but, you’re sleeping inside. Clean room. The towels and linen looked brand new! Friendly gal checked me in. Parking for trucks/RV’s across the street in a dirt lot owned by the city. Easy walking to breakfast and dinner options. I will stay again when I’m in the area!"
