The Stanley Hotel

"parking staff were most helpful, the two interactions i had with the check in staff were also great. the stairs leading to second or i guess main floor of the hotel definitely need replaced- the tiles were falling apart. the bathrooms in the main hotel building on the lower floor were pretty dirty & a lot of the glass or plexiglass for the displays on history or decoration were looking rough making some of the history articles/ notes hard to read and harder to see so the visual impact felt like it was lacking due to that. the aspire building was well maintained and clean (other than a few random gnats) hoping next time i make the drive up to estes park construction will be near done & that kore areas in the main original stanley hotel will be open to public- having 3/4 of the rooms made for a slightly disappointing experience considering how much it costs to stay there. regardless, i took my mom here after talking about it for the last 10 years & we still had such a great time!"

"Our stay was good overall. Donovan at the front desk was terrific! The property offered some fun things to do like the arcade and the lobby area was very nice. Our room could have used a little tidying. Looked like post remodel dust and splashes of something on the bathroom door were overlooked. Beds were comfortable and clean."

The hotel is very conveniently located and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay: comfortable bed, quiet room, with all in room amenities including a magnifying mirror. They also offer s'mores, popcorn, games and snacks, and it's the little things that make a difference here."

"This hotel is minutes from one entrance to the Rocky Mountain State Park. We accidentally exited the other side and were over a hour away but we just went right back in. 😂 It’s within walking distance to restaurants and shops. It felt like we were staying in the clouds when we were there. It’s not fancy but a nice place."

"We loved our experience at The Inn on Fall River! The location was perfect, about 2 miles from the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The Inn is a short drive to downtown Estes Park for shopping, dining and much more! The property was scenic and well maintained. Our suite was fabulous, including the two-sided fireplace! Not only would I stay there again, but we have already begun talking about returning during the same week next year!"
