"The property/building is beautiful but away from downtown Athens. We had been to the restaurant previously and were looking forward to a wonderful stay. With expectations admittedly high, our stay was underwhelming. Check in did not go smoothly. The staff were very slow snd it took about 20 minutes, even though we were the only ones checking in. The restaurant was closed between 2-5 pm and so there were no food options on property. The bar had no food and room service was somehow not available. When we got into the rooms, they were beautiful with very high ceilings and large windows. But the phone did not work (we couldn’t reach the front desk or other guest rooms). The shower and vanity are not separated from the rest of the room which could be a privacy issue for some guests. The shower itself was very small. Some channels on the TV did not come in or were not in HD. Cell service is very spotty throughout the property and we had trouble getting a signal/holding a call. Overall, it is a beautiful property but we encountered some issues that made our stay a little disappointing."

"I’m sorry but this hotel is a dump it smells of old carpet I had no hot water in the shower and it’s in a questionable area. I would not recommend this place at all."

"Staff did not clean room or provide towels the second day of a 3 day stay. Lower area not to my standards for a Best Western but I don't know anything about tower rooms. Parking is minimal and difficult to acquire if late returning. Breakfast was definitely of low standards with minimal selections. No breakfast available last morning at 0800 on April 20,2026, no coffee, nothing."
