"We arrived at Herbes Folles after a long day and a delay on the Eurotunnel. What a beautiful place located in the countryside. Our room was stunning and so comfortable, everything we needed. We were made to feel so welcome nothing was too much trouble, so kind and friendly. The breakfast was delicious….homemade products from the farm. We would not hesitate in returning to Herbes Folles. "A remarkable place to stay. As a hotel it does have it's limitations- light and soundproofing are both quite poor. However the bed was very comfy, the WiFi was decent, the bathrooms were very clean and the shower was good. Decent continental breakfast. Very friendly staff. The main reason for staying here is to experience this historic building and the stories it has to tell. From that point of view it is amazing. So no it isn't the most luxurious place I've ever stayed but it might well be...
