"Fantastic room with lots of space, hotel is so well connected for travelling around the city. Excellent breakfast buffet and we enjoyed a drink in the bar each evening. Be aware that it is very close to a train station and you do get noise as a result, but the pros of being able to move so easily around the city far outweighed any noise for us. They even provided ear plugs and we slept really well so it’s not a complaint at all, just something to be aware of.

"The breakfast staff were very gracious and helpful. Breakfast options were very well prepared; lots of fresh fruit and coffees. Also, the hotel staff in general were very nice. If I were to suggest improvements-it would be to install a grab bar in the walk-in shower. Because the shower wasn’t equipped with a grab bar, nor any type of anti-slip mat for the shower floor-which was marble and could get quite slippery. Also, the TV remote control was not as useful as most I’ve found in hotel rooms:...

"First time trying this hotel having stayed at the Adlon, Hilton Gendarmenmarkt and the Pierre. We lived in Berlin for a few years n the 90s and get back to visit now and then. Didn’t know what to expect but Expedia had a special offer going. The hotel exceeded my expectations. We were given an upgrade to a larger, quieter room upon check-in by s friendly and welcome staff member. The property was lovely, rooms nicely appointed, and the included breakfast buffet was delicious. I would highly...

"The room was very spacious with a large bed. It came with complimentary water, coffee, tea, slippers, and a bathrobe for our use, which we appreciated. The breakfast buffet and dinner restaurant had very good service and selection, so we would recommend dining there as a convenient option in Berlin.
The only issue that we noticed during our stay was that the soundproofing wasn't up to par. There were protests on the streets outside the hotel, and it was very audible from our room, so it...
