"Great location right across the street from the ocean. We had a room facing the ocean and a little balcony where we could sit watch the view and hear the waves crashing. The room was redone nicely and very clean. Loved the bathroom lighted mirror and it was nice to have a mini fridge and microwave. The staff were very friendly. Check in/out super easy. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Wonderful location and place to stay "

"The room was clean and updated. We did not have a view except into the room across from us. We had a fireplace but it was just for looks not warmth. There was a small wall heater but it took most of the night to warm the room. We were there when it was rainy and damp and the room was cool. Bed was very comfortable. Very little/no counter space in bathroom and low water pressure."

"We had a 3 night stay at this hotel. The front desk clerk was very friendly and welcomed us with freshly baked cookies. Our room was clean and comfortable. Note there is no air conditioning in the rooms but open your slider to a cool ocean breeze and listen to the ocean waves at night. Conveniently located to beaches and Hearst Castle. Took a drive up to Big Sur. Lovely location. Breakfast consisted of hot items such as eggs, bacon & sausage, waffles, yogurt, fruit and cereals. We would stay there again."
