"It’s a very well kept property which is next to main road. Host Rochelle and her husband is very welcoming and kind. We, a pack of 5 people went there to Braai, party and have a fun night and we really had a great time. Breakfast was okay. A special mention to the bread that is very well made. "The Black Eagle Hotel and Spa is a wonderful place to go when you just want to completely zone out. I spent a couple of nights here and found the atmosphere incredibly relaxing. There were plenty of opportunities to lounge by the pool, enjoy the beautiful gardens, and truly not feel the need to go anywhere at all. The on-site restaurant was a great convenience, and the food was excellent."

"The hot tub in our room didn’t seem the cleanest and we had trouble heating it the first night. We are very familiar with heating hot tubs with a fire/logs so this wasn’t the issue. Just didn’t seem very clean. "

"Lovely hosts. The place was quiet while we were there so it was very peaceful. We enjoyed the facilities and the outdoor space. Only downside was the lack of response to my emails and the need to spend £7.86 to phone to get in the gate, when they could have emailed a code. "
