"If you are travelling with immunocompromised people , I would not recommend this motel . Cleanliness is so important . Bathrooms need good scrub. Here you are responsible for emptying your own rubbish bins . Great for arranging transport and giving tips on what to see. Nice little pool ."

"This property is spacious and nicely located along the 4 Mile Beach, but it is not easily walkable to the town nor any restaurants nearby. The facilities/pools seemed like they could use a deep cleaning although our room seemed to be updated and clean. The restaurants on site are quite good."

"The room was super spacious, big comfy bed, really nice bathroom, had everything we needed and there was a pool! Also, there was a shared kitchen next to the pool, if you wanted to go all out and cook your own food, otherwise, you had the necessities in your room. Super lovely staff also, very friendly and lovely to talk to."

"This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We arrived, anticipating an attractive and heated pool. We discovered a very dirty, shabby out of date pool that was cold. After much communication with Expedia, the owners of the hotel turned up the temperature on the pool. Unfortunately, because the hotel was listed as a four-star hotel, but was maybe at least a 2 1/2 star or three star hotel, we decided to go somewhere else. "Outstanding in every way. Welcoming, clean, spacious, light-filled accommodation (we stayed in one of the one-bedroom villas). Super-comfortable bed; great shower. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Stunning tropical grounds. Easy 10-minute walk to Four Mile Beach and the Barrier Reef Tavern (try the smoked crocodile croquettes). "We really enjoyed our stay at the Peppers. Our room was clean and spacious. The pool area was lovely, but it was not a heated pool so a little cold to go into in July. Breakfast was okay. A good variety of options and fried eggs can be cooked to order. Cleaning of our room during our stay could’ve been better. It was really only a service to change towels, make the bed and empty bins. "We did not stay at the Daintree Wilderness due to Expedia overbooking at this hotel. The staff at Daintree Wilderness tried unsuccessfully to notify us and unsolicited found us another hotel nearby to stay Cockatoo hotel which was lovely the owner was gracious and helpful and the room had a large window overlooking the forest. It was light and airy and clean. We were so impressed with Daintree Wilderness staff apology and willing to make it right even though it was not their error. We returned...

"When you walk into the room you know it’s fresh and lovely cleaned, the colours made you feel happy and relaxed. The fridge was bigger than a bar freeze, that’s a big plus. Loved the NBQ area, everything was then and a large bbq. The bbq was in the pool area with its own table and chairs. Plenty of other chairs for the pool people. I’ll be back ❤️ it"

"We stayed in Mantra for a week and loved it. A large well decorated apartment with views over the inlet, so close to shops and restaurants, and great facilities for travellers on the go. Equipped kitchen and washing machine were a welcome surprise. It was very peaceful given the central location, and we received a warm welcome on arrival. Unit had a large bed, double sofa bed, kitchen, dining table, large balcony, jacuzzi bath and shower. Parking was provided free in the underground car park....
