"My stay at Motel 6 was not the greatest. Everything looked very rundown. The sink in our bathroom was covered in other people's hair."

"The first room we were given reeked of smoke despite being a non smoking hotel. This caused me to have an asthma attack. When I returned to the front desk I was immediately given a different room that did not smell of smoke. Neither room had functioning AC units. I also reported that someone was smoking in the room across the hall from us but I don't think anything was done about it (room 114). The breakfast had a good selection of items and a cheerful staff member working at it. Leigh G"

"Was strictly microwave breakfast, but ample selection. Cereal, bagels, yogurt, muffins, coffee, etc. Very unique and tastefully restored building. Beautiful bar. Read the history of the building and watch the video of the restoration of a historic block. Considered it a privilege to stay."

"The 2 best things about the O'Hare Inn is the location - close to everything - and the Sip n Dip Lounge. Go for the Mermaids, stay for the Tiki Inspired drinks and good food. The decor in the lounge is super cool. Our room (105) was really close to the entrance to the guest only area so it was pretty loud at night when everyone came in from enjoying the bar. "The hotel was very clean and comfortable but I specifically booked a hotel that had a hot tub and the hot tub was boarded over so likely was broken or needed maintenance so it was disappointing. Also the swimming pool was a bit too cold. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay."

"When I arrived, there was a group of really rough looking individuals out in the parking lot. The front door of the entrance was broken. The glass was broken in one of the windows. It was not somewhere. I felt safe spending the night so I left the property. I would really appreciate a refund for my stay. This is really rough part of town and poorly maintained with beer, cans, and trash throughout the parking lot."
