"Absolutely lovely place to stay, being over 100 years old the property does show its age but that all part its charm. The location and views made the stay even better. The staff was excellent as was the food. Highly recommended and we look forward to returning."

"Love the Hotel. I m 80 now. I was always there with my parents. As a wee boy it's got a great feeling to it. Only thing I was dissatisfied with. Was fried breakie. It went cold quick too. It cost me. 30£ for two my wife ate very little of it."

In our room, the shower attachment distinegrated, the bathroom fan did not work, the toilet seat was broken, the electric face plate for the towel rail was smashed, the bathroom door had had 2 big holes filled, the carpet was stained. "My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful!
