"Last-minute booking for Goodwood Festival of Speed and luckily we found a room here. It was better than I expected from photo, a spacious room with a 4-poster bed, the bathroom had a bath and a walk-in shower. Although no air-con, there was a large fan and we slept well. My husband enjoyed the full breakfast with good quality bacon, eggs and sausage; he doesn't eat tomatoes, so declined the heritage ones offered. "Wonderfully located in a natural setting and in short driving distance to several National Trust properties and only 30 to 45 minutes to Brighton. This is a great location if you want to combine a trip to the coast with spending time in the nature. Rooms are simple, but comfortable and the breakfast tasty and plentiful. There is a small indoor pool, including a steam room and sauna. I would definitely stay here again but hopefully the next time get a room where the television isn’t broken."

"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"Charming, quirky place, more than adequate for a one night stop over. Pleasant room with nice, recently refitted bathroom - sadly very hot/stuffy during recent hot weather. EV chargers did not work for me unfortunately. Food rather uninspiring and underwhelming, otherwise would stay again."

From the moment we stepped into reception; greeted with a very warm and friendly reception staff, who then offered a small bag of goodies as we were staying for more than 3 nights. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, modern and with a delightful bathroom. A decent power shower, and very nicely presented. Breakfasts were also very good; although a couple of small negative areas here. Need more than 1 coffee machine please. Often the queue...

"We booked here last minute, and what a wonderful choice. The staff were simply incredible and really friendly. We came in a little early to see if we could check in early, and within 15 minutes we were sorted. The bar staff were great, we didn't have to wait for service and drinks and again really helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was perfect! It was the Luxe Double room with sea view, and so worth the money! We are definitely coming back again! Please keep up the amazing work, you...

"The hotel is looking very tired. Shortage of sockets in the room for charging electronic devices. Service was good but not amazing. Ate at Farmer Butcher Chef and was disappointed with the quality of the food. Overall given the prices they charge at the hotel and restaurant it was not great. Chosen for the convenience of being on site for the Goodwood event we attended but we would likely not stay there again."
