2/10 Terrible
"So many problems. The parking lot being closed for over a year is absolutely unacceptable, especially for the handicapped. Guest are to park in the hospital parking lot and walk at least a quarter mile with all of their luggage just to check in. With the number of transients, horrible lighting, and lack of care from staff, safety is compromised for guests. Rooms are severely outdated with peeling wallpaper and mold. Thermostats in the rooms do not work and are just there for show because the heating and air conditioning is an old system that is single source controlled. This is leading to the mold growth and musty smell. Frankly considering this hotel serves a major trauma center, it is absolutely ridiculous the property is in such a run down state."

"We had to be moved because of our room hadn't been cleaned properly. Elevator was sketchy. We felt safer going up and down the stairs. The first also had no lock on the bathroom door and smelled like sewage. Second room wasn't much better. My daughter and her friend did not feel safe there either. There was alot of construction workers staying there that seemed to pay way to much attention to them."

"We recently stayed here while visiting family in Iowa. Overall, it was a decent experience with both positives and negatives. We specifically booked a poolside room, expecting easy access to the pool area. While our room technically overlooked the pool, it was located upstairs and around the corner, which wasn’t quite what we had in mind when booking “poolside.” The indoor water park was definitely the highlight of our stay. My grandkids had an absolute blast, and it provided hours of entertainment. The room itself was clean, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and pleasant to interact with throughout our visit. The property could use some updating, particularly the carpet in the common areas, which is showing its age. Another disappointment was that the restaurant closed because it opened at 3:00 PM, making it difficult to grab lunch. Overall, if you’re visiting with children and plan to spend time at the water park, it’s worth considering. The friendly staff and clean rooms were appreciated, but some facility updates and expanded dining hours would greatly improve the guest experience."

"Ok for one night…would not stay again. Stains on the blankets, micro pillows and you better be below average size to fit in the bathroom. Nothing as advertised. The halls were dark and musty smelling…I couldn’t imagine having a conference here."

"Staff was great. Only downfall was no tv reception for the first 2 hours after my check in. Front desk said it was because it was raining hard. Once the rain stopped, I got reception. Tried to take a bath while I was waiting for the tv to work and only had lukewarm water. Was disappointed."

"The hotel was ok, the location was excellent! But I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, the breakfast was weak at best. The hotel & parking lot was a bit dirty. Charged for parking that I didn’t know when I made the reservation."

"Our room was a nice size. I especially liked the bed and pillows. Everything in our room was spon on. There was a floor drain somewhere before you walk into the pool. It just needs water poured down it because it stinks. Also! The information on the back of the door states check out time is noon. The front desk shows it's 11. I was here not too long ago and they weren't aware the times were different. They need to change the signs in the rooms! The pool was small and a bit chilly. After we left, they called us to let us know I had left my makeup mirror there and we went and picked it up. I really appreciated that. We'll be back"
