Village Hotel Birmingham Dudley
"Terrible check-in system .. find a member of staff to do it ! Otherwise clean modern hotel with excellent facilities from bar, restaurant, to gym and spa. Comfy clean rooms, no air conditioning though and quite noisy with the windows open. Pleasant enough stay for one night."

The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury
"Despite saying pet friendly, the hotel failed to mention a £15 cost per animal per night which was unexpected, and extortionate given the state of the place. Parking £5 per night, again unexpected. Room very very basic, small and hot. We didn't sleep 1st night due to heat/lack of air circulation ..."
