The room was generally good, but there weren't any extra blankets in it, which was concerning as we felt a little cold when we first got into bed. The breakfast was good in the morning, and there was a nice sunroom to eat in. But the most unpleasant part of our stay was checking in with the receptionist at the front desk after we arrived. I had called the day before arriving and asked to check in early because I needed to get to a funeral. The woman who answered was very gracious and said she couldn't guarantee anything but that it shouldn't be a problem if we called or arrived early and spoke to the person working the reception in the morning. But as it turned out, that receptionist didn't make any effort to help speed up the process for us. He didn't call anyone or check to see if the room was ready until we insisted. He just repeated that the room would only be ready at 2:00, which was the time we needed to be leaving to get to the funeral on time. If our request had been impossible to do and if he had been more polite and gracious to us, we would have happily figured out a different way around this, but as it stands, it left a bad taste in my mouth. As a result, I won't stay there again or recommend it to anyone else.
