Slovenský raj (Slovak Paradise) is a national park in central Slovakia between Poprad and Spišská Nová Ves. Photo was taken at the first waterfall on the Suchá Belá (dry white) gorge, which is the most popular of the 8 gorges that are open to the public. Over a distance of 4 km, a series of ladders and metal walkways provide access to the gorge, whilst minimising the human impact. Best to start your hike early if you want to avoid the crowds. This was a really nice place with spectacular view from the balcony. The only 2 pain points were parking in the garage was very tight and no AC in room . We were there in end of August and the room was very hot … difficult go fall asleep. The option to open window was there but a lot of mosquitoes ...
