"Amazing weekend.Bit awkward to find as we came in from kendal way ..Sat nav tookus throughmiles of one car wide road but its a paradise corner with stream and garden areas.. Some cottages residential but very friendly especially John..Also has smart TV and excellent wifi ..4 of us on anniversary weekend.Fully recommended.."

"Generally very good with nice room, bar area, restaurant and gardens. Staff very helpful particularly Ashley on Reception and Joy in the restaurant. Breakfast first class. Fantastic views of the lake from the hotel. My only concern with dining was the limited vegetarian options for my partner in the restaurant. The other disappointment was being charged £15 per day for parking when at the time of booking the parking was supposed to be included. As I had booked through Hotels. com I was informed nothing could be done and I had to pay the cost. It was an unfortunate end to a wonderful stay."
