"We really enjoyed our seven night stay at the Berkeley Hotel from the moment we arrived. On arrival we were greeted by Elma who booked us in and gave us a warm welcome before recommending somewhere to eat nearby as we had arrived quite late. The room was a very good size with a large clean bed, a small balcony with table and two chairs and a well laid out bathroom with walk in shower. "beautifully restored, very comfortable, just a few rooms and guests. Very quite. Rooms were lovely and well appointed. Just a couple of comments, the curtains were very hard to pull/close and the music system for the restaurant was just under the window of our room. It is portable and could be moved around the corner. "

"The apartment was comfortable and clean and had everything I needed. My host, Diana, was also very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was well located for me to explore Dubrovnik on foot with Old Town about 50 mins away and a supermarket within easy reach. "

"First time in Dubrovnik, Hotel Vis made my stay SO EASY and comfortable!! The staff were so friendly and helpful, helping me get to and from the airport, and to and from downtown/Old City Dubrovnik. The hotel room and bathroom were the cleanest I've ever experienced, and the price was really reasonable. The hotel has direct access to the beach, easy walking to restaurants, and a bus stop across the street. Great for carless travel. Highly recommend Hotel Vis!!"

"Excellent location right inside the old city. Easy walk to nearby attractions, restaurants, bars and more. Check-in happens at a coffee shop outside Ploce Gate, so be prepared to walk 8 mins to the hotel. Fairly easy walk, but cobbled streets. Inside, the property, rooms and decorations are immaculate and beautiful. No elevator, so a fair bit of stair climbing. Minor point: safe wasn't functioning in my room due to previous guests leaving it locked. Staff is very friendly and helpful. John...
