"This place was incredible! The staff was so kind and helpful. It was my big day- my wedding and they ensured everything went perfectly. They helped me arrange transportation to and from my ceremony, they assisted in guiding the flower company, make up artist, and photographer up to my room. The views of Lake Como from my private terrace were out of this world and breath taking. The breakfast was wholesome and delicious and our entire stay was perfect. Thank you Hotel Villa Belvedere!"

"Very friendly and attentive staff but that's about it. The mattress on our bed felt like it was just springs. We asked to move rooms for a better bed but were told all the beds are the same. The room itself was very tired looking and in need of updating and had an odd smell. The bathroom was clean but the shower frequently ran out of hot water and failed to drain fast enough so had to frequently turn off to stop from overflowing. The breakfast was basic but not amazing quality with a bad...

"Loved the hotel close to ferry and bus stop is a 7 min walk however the ferry schedule is very limited so you need to plan accordingly as not all routes stop at San Giovanni. Hotel is not in Bellagio"

"The minute you enter the boutique hotel lobby you’re greeted by a lovely attendant. He was very helpful and so nice. Our room was super clean, very new, and beautiful. The included breakfast is fantastic! Views of the lake were spectacular. The location is about 10 minutes (walking) from a cafe and 10 min drive from a small town. Walking is a bit doggy with limited sidewalks and speedy traffic, but we managed with no problems. Highly recommend this hotel!"

Tuttavia, a fronte di un supplemento di 15€ a notte (anche fuori stagione), mi sarei aspettata almeno una ciotola in camera o un piccolo segno di benvenuto. "The hotel was just what I had hoped for, for my lake como vacation. Just a few minutes from varenna and more quiet and quaint. We were picked up from the train station and offered shuttle service but everything is walkable or a quick train or ferry ride away. Breakfast is great and the staff here are very nice and helpful. It’s right on the lake so the views are beautiful. We only booked 2 nights but ended up staying 4. "
