Beautiful place to stay. Right on the lake, great scenery and sunrises! Awesome spot to stay with your furry friends! Fantastic snowmobile and ice fishing space. Will be back. Thank you!

Nice Staff. Stained and hairfilled bedding.
Staff were polite and friendly. They "upgraded" me from cabin to suite at no cost - that was nice of them. 1st suite hadn't been cleaned after previous guests (garbage strewn everywhere, towel in and on shower floor, bed disaster). 2nd suite was alright, no heat in bedroom though and the wifi didn't reach the bathroom or bedroom. This is where it gets bad... I went to climb into bed and put extra blankets on. They had holes and barely covered the top of the mattress. They were ratty, like the spare ones you find in your grandma's attic. Oh well... Pull back the sheets and blanket to find a few hairs and stained sheets. Ew. Kept going and found a pubic hair. Kept pulling and found no less than a dozen hairs. I called the office. They ended up bringing me new sheets. I took the sheet off and pillow cases to find the mattress protector looking even more stained (and more hair) than the sheets and the pillows had yellow marks and more hair on them too. So, I ended up sleeping in the hard as a rock loveseat instead and used my coat as a pillow. As if it couldn't get worse. Someone tried to open the patio door to my room twice in the night.

Great location because it’s on the water, but property is very run down and needs a lot of work! Mold in bathroom and other places. Was a big right up in the paper about the health department being called on this please due to the cleanliness of the actually hotel, because of mold n other reasons. I stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. Very unsettling but did not catch bed bugs. Maybe bring your own sheets like we did. The lake and the sunrise make it bearable for a cheap price.

Convenient
The only reason to stay was because this location was convenient and one of the only places close to our family function. We were upgraded to a water front cabin. There is not much good to say, these are old building with older bathroom facilities that are crowded (ei: bathroom door does not open all the way as it hits the toilet).

Pretty good.
This resort had really beautiful rooms and they were sparkling clean and well kept, i had a beautiful suite with a deck and chairs facing the water. Very quiet, only complaint for the room, is it was very cold in the room and theres no microwave, everytime my son needed a bottle i had to walk to a separate building, with no lights to see at night, across the backyard lawn to finally get a microwave in the back. The front desk doesnt open till 9am which me and other customers were lined up waiting to get our deposits back causing a big delay in our trip, we wanted to depart first thing, but we had to wait until 9am. The common areas doors were very disgusting and counters weren't clean. The pizzeria below is the best pizza on planet earth. 100% worth the price.

Property is pretty old need upgrades, rooms are comfy but not worth price paid for. It has beautiful view and lot of things to do.

Well it is a 3 star hotel So you get what you expect I was not expecting the Ritz It was clean enough but it wasn't new There is wear and tear I found it amusing that one of the hotel rules was no spitting on the furniture.. which could give a hint as what hotel owners are up against I found the mattress way too firm. I tossed and turned and woke up with sore shoulders The upside is there is a small deck at the rear overlooking the lake and there are barbecues and a play area for kids so it may be great for a day stay with the family

Old but clean and comfortable
The property is older but seemed well maintained. I couldn't figure out how to get the heat to turn on, so I just wore my jacket. Overall, nice place. I would stay again.

Beautiful location but property is lacking TLC. Price for what you get is way too high. Owner/staff was condescending and unwilling to compromise. Booking through Expedia and declaring 2 pets, we were given a price for the 1 night stay but upon checking charged an extra $60 for the 2 pets. An already way overpriced 1 night stay became outrageous. Upon checkin, we were and hour early to the already insanely late 4pm checkin time and were told checkin wasn’t until 4, yet the cabin was ready for occupancy! They were going to make us wait an hour to get into it even though it was ready. You pay premium rates for waterfront but can’t get to it until 4 then have to leave by 11am! I’ll never come back here. Caswell use to be a posh establishment…. Not anymore!

respected sir/madam,We gave you the key before the check-in procedure(just because you asked for it) despite of we do the procedure first and then hand over the keys. Furthermore, we gave our cabin to you early (2 hrs). Expedia has mentioned extra charges on the site under the fee policies section where we have clearly mentioned that pet fee charges are extra which they don't include in the booking charges. We didn’t even stay the night. Brutal. The photos are not recent. There are also people living in the hotel. Beyond the filth, it did not feel safe. Also, as a single female traveller, I did not appreciate being asked if I was travelling alone. Go to Huntsville to sleep, don’t stop here!!!!
